The work of South African born, London based artist, Jennifer Morrison, is primarily concerned with the abstract qualities of colour, line and form and how these can be used to express and inspire emotion. Her work explores the medium of oil paint and seeks to rely on the intuition of the artist in the making of the works and on the person who views them. Morrison wants the viewing of her paintings to be a rich and direct encounter. The visual impact and experience is paramount. Morrison graduated from Central Saint Martins College in London and has had solo exhibitions in London, Johannesburg and Durban.
