BARNARD is pleased to announce that we will be participating for the first time in the Parisian art fair entitled, AKAA (Also Known As Africa) from 10 – 12 November, 2017. The Gallery’s presentation will focus on the exploration and investigation of paint and the treatment of the photographic print medium within a South African context. We will be presenting new paintings by nine artists featured in the stable that includes painters Alexia Vogel, Jaco van Schalkwyk, Sarah Biggs, MJ Lourens, Robyn Penn, Katherine Spindler, Ryan Hewett, Ndikhumbule Ngqinambi as well as photographs by Alastair Whitton and Lien Botha.
